What's in/on My...

My friend Pat put out a free-for-all tag to say what's in/on my...

  • CD Player
  • DVD Player
  • To Read List
  • To See List
  • Mind
Here are my answers:

  • CD Player: Currently, Evanescence's first album. Before that it was Reliant K's Christmas Album, "Let It Snow Baby, Let It Reindeer..."
  • DVD Player: My wife's workout DVD is in one and "A Christmas Story" is in the other.
  • To Read List: Commentaries on Judges (I'm starting a new series at church), anything on Philippians 3 (my primary research interest), stuff concerning the history of NT research (since that's the class I'm taking next quarter), Jewish Believers in Jesus (because I've found it fascinating), and The Orc King by RA Salvatore (I know, I know...I'm a nerd!).
  • To See List: Nothing really. The wife and I will likely watch one of our many Christmas movies tonight as we pack for our vacation. Other than that, there's really nothing that I am dying to see.
  • Mind: NCAA football needing a playoff system, the poor pass-coverage skills of Roy Williams, how excited I am that Ryne Sandberg is still coaching in the Cubs' system, and what surprises are in the brightly wrapped gifts under the tree.
Like Pat, I'll end with the same thing: Consider yourself tagged if you so choose!

Merry Christmas!

Matthew,

Glad I could help with the book reviews info.

Also glad you found Pisteuomen. Be sure to become a regular, I always love engaging people on the site. I'll check your site more often too.

Be blessed and be a blessing.

Glad you took me up on it. You were the only person I thought of mentioning, actually, but I didn't want to "force" anyone :) What's Alida's workout DVD? At another moment, my answer could easily have been the same.

Don't forget to check out Terry Brensinger's commentary on Judges in the Believers Church Bible Commentary series. I think you'd really appreciate it. Terry is the pastor at our church in PA. I took an OT survey course and Hebrew with him as an undergrad. Super guy.

The Orc King? :)

Pat,

I'll have to tell you in person what Alida's workout DVD is sometime; I'll have to see if Fuller has that volumer of BCBC; and The Orc King is a fantasy book about a goodly dark elf named Drizzt.

And Michael,

Thanks for the comment! I hope to interact with you much more often in the future!
